Sports Need More Time To Practice
I believe school should allow more practice time for sports, in order for athletes to become better experienced. There are a lot of positive outcomes for athletes if schools could make this change happen. This could also help kids to make better choices with their time.
In order to become a good athlete, you need practice. Most practices only last an hour a day. Once you get started it seems as if its already over. What can you learn from that? Not much. I think they should allow students to replace a study hall with a sport if they choose. If you choose a sport like wrestling, it can help you learn the importance of setting goals and keeping your mind and body healthy.
If athletes had the option to stay after school and practice more often it could also help with the stress of teenage life and more. Instead of turning to other habits, such as drugs or even to depression. This could also get more kids off of electronics. Why not help kids focus on enjoying life and understand how sports can help.
Sports are also important when it comes to you always being inside. Being inside is not going to help you with your sports it will just start making you overweight. To be honest I don't know how people sit inside all day and eat while watching tv when you can be outside practicing your sport or can be with your friends. One thing that makes me mad is when my friends sit there and text me to get on PlayStation and play nonstop when they could be outside or at a practice getting good at something but instead there dream is to be good at videogames.
If you are not giving kids more opportunities to better their lifestyles then how do you expect them to succeed in their sports.
