School Clothing and Dress Code

A lot of people debate on whether kids should be able to wear what they want to school. A lot of kids say yes but a few kids say no. For parents, it's about half-and-half. Some parents don't care and as long as their child dresses appropriately. Kids would feel more comfortable in class instead of moving around and itching in uniforms, kids wouldn't take as long getting dressed in the morning, and if students were to get bullied they would get bullied for many other things. Therefore, Students should be able to wear whatever they want.

Students would feel more comfortable in class. Kids would like to come to school more instead of being mad about the dress code or uniforms. ¨If students wear regular clothes to schools they have more freedom to express themselves.¨ Most kids want to express themselves by how they dress and by their personality. In conclusion, kids want to express themselves with what they wear.

Kids wouldn't take as long getting ready in the morning because they can wear whatever and don't have to worry about dress code. Students don't want to wake up and take long to choose what to wear because of dress code or if they wear uniforms they don't want to take long making sure everything looks perfect and it gets boring really often. ¨ Uniforms can also be boring since everyone in the whole school is wearing the same thing. The school would have nothing to hold if it's just a boring school that wears uniforms every day. Therefore, kids don't want to wear the same clothes every day or wear certain types of clothes because they want to wear what they want.

If students got bullied it wouldn't be for what they wear all the time they can get bullied for other things. They want to wear what they think is right for them, but they can't because some are too self-conscious about their looks sometimes or think they are going to get made fun of by other students. According to ¨Times for Kids" this is what a 9-year-old had to say ¨I think it is harder to bully someone about his or her clothes if you are all wearing the same thing.¨ That is what a 9-year-old student had to say about whether they should wear uniforms or not. Whether they will get made fun of or not people still have very different opinions on this topic. In conclusion, kids want to wear what they want but are afraid if they will get made fun of or not.

To conclude, students should have the right to wear what they want to school. Even if some will get bullied by what they wear the teachers will find a way to prevent this from happening. Therefore, kids do want to express their personalities by what they wear and their looks and some don't care if they will get made fun of or not.
