Lacrosse is better than baseball

Everyone calls baseball Americans pastime right. But what if I told you that is a lie. But lacrosse is at least 500 years older. The reason I am writing this is to show people that lacrosse is not a second-tier sport. My claim is lacrosse is better than baseball

 The first reason lacrosse is better than baseball is it is the oldest sport in America. The native Americans created it to settle disputes instead of all-out war which goes to show how violent this game actually is. Secondly, you need much more endurance to play lacrosse. For baseball, you can sit in the outfield for an inning and not do anything. But in lacrosse, you constantly need to be moving and never stop.  Thirdly you have a better chance of getting into a good college. For lacrosse, you have a 1:8 chance of playing at any level and a 1:38 of playing d1. For baseball, on the other hand, it is 1:9 for any level and 1:50 to play at a d1 college. In all, you have a way better chance of getting into a d1 college playing lacrosse than baseball. Others would argue that lacrosse is way too expensive or a rich kid sport. One can not deny lacrosse is an expensive sport. However, it cost the same as football and while on dick’s web page I saw bats on there for $200-$500. I can get all of my gear and some for $500. So in comparison lacrosse is not an expensive sport.

So to sum up lacrosse is better than baseball. I used those reasons because they are important to me and the lacrosse community. In all this is why lacrosse is better than baseball
