We have all heard about climate change. Some scientists are saying it's good for the earth than others are saying, it is not good for the earth. Climate change is the rising of the earth's average temperature. With this temperature rising it is killing plants, animals, making wildfires more frequent, melting are glaciers, melting are polar ice caps and more. Climate change is destroying our earth in many ways such as wildfires and ice caps melting. So, I think we could all say that climate change is affecting our world!


First, due to climate change and earth's temperature rising so quickly. Plants and animal rates are slowly decreasing. CBS News said, “ 1 million species of plants and animals are at risk of extinction.” (CBS News) Therefore Because of climate change plants and animals are at risk for extinction. In conclusion, If we don't try to help stop climate change we might be putting are wildlife in danger and even our population in danger too.


Second, glaciers are melting rapidly in the Arctic. National Geographic said “ Glacier National Park in 1910, was home to an estimated 150 glaciers. Since then the number has decreased to fewer than 30. (National Geographic) Because of climate change, it has been endangering are Arctic wildlife and the environment. In conclusion, due to the rising temperatures of climate change are Arctic glaciers and polar ice caps are in danger of melting away.





Some people would say, wildfires are helping the environment to get rid of all the clutter in our forests and helping are forests regrow and thrive. Admittedly, yes some wildfires are helping are forest regrown and thrive. However, according to World Wildlife, “ The fires kill and displace wildlife, alter water cycles and soil fertility, and endanger the lives and livelihoods of the local communities.” (World wildlife) Therefore, saying that the wildfires are killing wildlife and endangering are homes and communities. Due to the high rising temperatures of climate change.





In summary, climate change has affected our world in many ways. Climate change is affecting our world in many ways such as plants and animals rates decreasing, and Glaciers and polar ice caps melting in the Arctic. To sum it all up, all people should pitch in and help us stop climate change. We should all help project are plants and animals and glaciers. Climate change needs to stop and if it does not who knows what could happen next.
