Energy Drinks Should Be Illegal for Kids
Walking through the school hallways in the morning and seeing students with energy drinks in hand is not uncommon. Many students rely on energy drinks for that morning burst of caffeine to start their day. Unfortunately, energy drinks are extremely bad for children to consume. According to a study conducted by Stanford Children’s Health consuming too much caffeine can cause nervousness, increased stomach acid or a feeling of upset stomach, headaches, sleep problems, a faster heart rate, and dehydration, especially after a workout .
