I've always loved bouncing on trampolines. I, obviously, am not that tall, so I like seeing over the top of the trampoline. Well, when I jump and land, it can either go bad or good. Usually, it's bad. One time when I was at Riley Kochel's house (she lives across the street from me), I went on the trampoline and I was having a good time and then when I jumped and landed, I landed on my knees and my back bent over like you're doing a backbend. When that happened, I felt a little crack in the middle of my back and when I got up, it hurt so much. I know it seems like no big deal, but when you go to the doctor after that happens and they said you sprained your back, you know what it feels like. Yes, you can sprain or strain your back. Plus, if you have a sprained/strained back and you attempt to jump on a trampoline, like, you physically can't; I mean, you can but it REALLY hurts. After the pain went away a few weeks, yes weeks, later, I went on the trampoline again to find out if my back hurt again when I jumped. I was fine until I did the same exact thing again.....7 times in a row. Yay me! Well, after the 7 times, I learned my lesson- (I should've learned my lesson the 3rd or 4th time I did it)- now, I always land in a 'criss-cross-applesauce' position. Lol, that sounds weird.
Another time I had an 'injury' was when I was playing soccer against the Tulplehocken team (The girls who were on my team know about this already). We were playing and I was the defense. A girl on the other team had the ball and was running towards me, so I did what any other player would do. I tried to get the ball, obviously. When I went to get the ball, in my perspective at least, the girl tripped me or at least tried to, this might've been my fault, too, but she tried tripping me and she was successful. I landed on my right shoulder and it sort of like, twisted I guess? I don't know what the correct word is. Anyway, I landed and I could tell it wasn't in the correct position. After I landed and the coaches came to check if I was okay, I said yes and was sent off the field because there was only like, 5 minutes left. When we were going to our cars after the game, the referee came to me and asked if I was okay. We had a talk and then we went home. A few days after, the pain was so intense that I needed to go to the doctor and there, I got a sling so my arm could rest.
Finally, the last 'injury' I had was when I was swimming. I was at the gold or silver championships and my group consisted of four people. We were heading to the blocks where we obviously dove into the pool. When we got there, we were put in a line so that each of us had to do 50 (2 laps) of the stroke we were doing. Backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, and freestyle. I was 2nd to go, and I was NERVOUS. My turn was up, so I went and I swam my fastest. While finishing up with the 2nd lap, I felt as if I pulled something in my right shoulder; I only felt the pain when I got home. Turns out, I pulled a muscle in my arm that lead up to my shoulder and I needed to use the same sling I used when the soccer injury happened. I got the sling and wore it for a couple days until the pain stopped.
FUN FACT(s): I've never broken any bones, I've never flown in an airplane, I've only been to 8 states: Florida, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Tennessee, and South Carolina, my dream car is a white Jeep, and if I won 1 million dollars, I would send some to foster care, hospitals, orphanages, and humane societies, then I would put some into my savings account for college, I would help my parents with the house (putting money towards windows, doors, etc), I would give some money to my family, THEN I would spend it on myself.
