Stop Animal Testing

When we test products on animals, about 95% of the products fail. Animals are captured or bought to test on. Innocent animals are dying because of scientists testing on them. Monkeys, dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals are some of the many species being tested on. So, we should stop testing products on animals.
To start off, if we stop testing on animals, we will have more animals that are saved and get to live a healthy life. For example, this article says, “In 2010, the U.S Department of Agriculture reported that nearly 100,000 animals suffered pain during experiments while not being administered with anesthesia”(Pros and Cons of Animal Testing). This proves how scientists harm animals and make them suffer for no reason. Animals did nothing to deserve suffering while being tested on. So, we should stop animal suffering.
In addition, if we keep testing on animals we need to buy things to take care of them. That costs a lot of money to do. For example, this article says,” Animal testing usually costs an enormous amount of money, as the animals must be fed, housed, cared for and treated with drugs or a similar experimental substance” (Using Animals for Testing: Pros versus Cons). This shows how animals are expensive to test on. The U.S is 21 trillion dollars in debt, so why waste money on animal testing? To conclude, it would cost less to stop testing.
Admittedly, scientists have made many life-saving products because of testing on animals. Nevertheless, if we make products more natural, it would not be too risky to test on humans. We could make life-saving products with natural ingredients. If it were natural, humans would not have to worry about being tested on because of the ingredients. Therefore, if we make natural or plant-based products, animals would not have to suffer anymore.
Animals don’t deserve to be tested on. People are unaware of innocent animals suffering and pain. Animal testing happens every day. If we stop soon, we save more animals, we save more money, and we can have more natural products. You can help by buying natural or vegan products instead of supporting brands that use animals to test on.
