trash should be recycled more to stop pollution.

                                    Pollution control
Today in the word you can't walk 10 feet without seeing trash.
Animals, fish, and even humans can be harmed by trash pollution. but we need to start doing something about it before it's too late.
̈ ̈The average person generates over 4 pounds of trash every day and about 1.5 tons of solid waste per year.¨ and only 30% of that trash is recycled which means the rest of that trash is
Burnt causing air pollution and or is compacted on a pile at a trash compound.
The biggest problem with trash and air pollution is that it is killing approximately
100 million sea animals and fish. That means that food and resources are being wasted
More and more every day. We can fix this by recycling more trash and garbage so they will
Be used to make new items that will not kill or harm animals or the whole ecosystem.
In 2013 over 254 million tons of trash was recycled to make products such as water bottles,
Shampoo bottles, plastic silverware, trash bags, and even equipment to help collect trash.
How many times a day do you throw something away that could be recycled?
Roughly 728,000 tons of garbage is collected each day. If that was recycling there would be
A lot less pollution on land and in water. We can work on creating a cleaner earth just by
buying recycling bins and recycling more often.
Every three months, Americans throw enough aluminum in the landfills to build our nation's entire commercial air fleet. That scrap metal will sit in a landfill and rust but if we start recycling that we can put it to use.
As a society, we should start recycling to make a better world for us and future generations.
