Eco-friendly Products Should Be Less Expensive

Nowadays, wildlife all around us is dying, but we don’t have the money to help. Our beloved planet is dying day by day, but what can we do? Pollution is becoming increasingly worse and global warming is just beginning. There is only a matter of time before our planet completely dies off. We need to start making a difference now before it is too late. Eco-friendly products being sold should be less expensive.

Reason one, eco-friendly products help with global warming and pollution problems. The Environmental Professionals Network (EPN) claimed, “The conventional cleaning products in the market contain several toxic chemicals and may be harmful to the environment. Even though they make our house grime free and sparkling clean, they release harmful compounds and solvents into the atmosphere whenever they are used, and therefore, they are not good for your health." (A Few Good Reasons To Use Eco-Friendly Products For A Greener Home). Most cleaning products contain harmful chemicals that are bad for our health. The majority of the air people breathe around the world is polluted with harmful chemicals. Some examples of harmful chemicals are chlorine, ammonia, phthalates, etc. Replacements for those chemicals could be baking soda, beeswax, olive oil, and others. To sum it up, you should replace harmful chemicals with more natural chemicals to keep from polluting the air with mixtures that are bad for our health.

Reason two, doing your part to help and use environmentally kind products can help save wildlife. SEE TURTLES explains, “...a large area that is approximately the size of Texas with debris extending 20 feet (6 meters) down into the water column. It’s estimated that this ‘plastic island’ contains 3.5 million tons of trash and could double in size in the next 5 years.” (Ocean Plastic & Sea Turtles). Sea Turtles swim through the ocean every day with trash scattered everywhere. Most sea life is getting stuck in the trash and being injured, some even end up dying. Other animals are being hurt from our carelessness of throwing trash wherever. Therefore, it is not just humans being affected by trash it is all the nature and animals around us too.

On the other hand, making the products costs a lot of money. However, they are made out of non-toxic materials which are good for the environment. I am arguing about saving our planet and helping out while others are arguing about the cost to make the products. The manufacturing cost doesn’t matter when it comes down to our planet dying. The only money issue that does matter is products that can help us are too costly. To show, although it costs a lot to make is making it saving the planet NO using the product and helping out is saving the planet.

To summarize, we need to start worrying about saving our planet but there is a big obstacle in our way and that is the pricing. Eco-friendly products help with pollution and global warming, can help save wildlife, and are made out of non-toxic materials. Spread the word we need to save our beautiful planet, Earth. Do your fair share by buying environmentally friendly products (if you can), and plant a tree while you are at it. WE ALL NEED TO GO GREEN!
