Why Nap Time is Important
It is scientifically proven that teenagers need 9 1/2 hours of sleep. If teenagers don’t give the needed hours of sleep their brains will not be in full function and affect your ability to learn. If you don't get enough sleep you will be less able to focus, study, work and remember things. If we have nap time teenagers will be able to focus better and stay on task and get their work done faster and correcter. It is important to get those 9 1/2 hours but if your sleep schedule is affected by sports or other activities then it can be hard to get enough sleep and balance studying, homework, and other things. Teachers should have a period set aside for nap time when the students just chill and take a nap. The students would be able to relax and it would also lower the level of stress and the feeling of being overwhelmed.
Here is an article on other benefits of napping https://www.sleepfoundation.org/articles/napping. What do you think should there be nap time or no?
