Cheer

One open gym a couple weeks ago Makayla B. fell from a shoulder stand. It wasn't the first time she was doing a shoulder stand she did them a couple of times, but it wasn't perfected yet. She was flying on summers shoulders when she fell. She wasn't standing fully up yet. There was two other groups doing stunts, and I was doing front walkovers. I saw her fall when I was about to go into a front walk over. When she hit the ground she tried to catch herself you could kinda hear the crack. When we fall we most likely/we are used to saying ¨Im ok¨, and she was about to saw ¨im ok¨ until she looked at her arm. Instead of her elbow bending her forearm bent up and the bone snapped. When Makayla saw her arm she got up and screamed, then her and our coach ran to the trainer. The trainer had to put a towel over her arm until the ambulance got there because Makayla couldn't look at it, or she would freak out. When she got to the hospital they didn't know if she was going to need surgery, so Makayla stayed overnight the doctors thought the surgery through and in the morning when Makayla after makayla woke up she had surgery and got a cast. After she got the long cast off she got a brcae, and she is going to get the brace off soon.
