Shocktober was one of the best experiences in my life. Ava H. and I went on November 1st, 2019. When we walked in we got our wrist bands. To do 1 attraction it is 19 dollars! Jeez, that's a lot of money for 1 attraction. But anyway after we got our bands we walk into the fest. We walk into this HUGE guy that looks like he would be from Kiss. This man had two balloons that he would hit people in the head with. He honestly wasn't scary in my opinion. Then he came...the chainsaw guy...he scared me at first. But then I learned to laugh at him. Then I pretty much just laughed and made jokes with him. Ok, let's get into the more....exciting parts.
The first thing we went on was the haunted hayride. When Ava and I were standing in line there was very nostalgic music playing. So...you guessed it, we were dancing like weirdos in the line. Yeah...we got weird stares and some people laughed but hey we were having fun...before the terror. If I was being honest the hayride was not the scariest. When we actually got on there were no actual seats, so we sat on the hay in the far left corner. We made small talk with the family next to us. Not even lying the guy next to us looked like a guy in an anime we watch! The ride started, and we go into this room with "zombies" in it. We were watching a lady talking on a fairly large TV explain the whole zombie thing. Then it switched to this fake officer turning off the protective shield and letting the zombie out! After that, we went through a BUNCH of somewhat scary places. When we got out we went to talk to our friends...the chainsaw guy and the balloon man.
I hate being scared and I hate zombies. This sounds like a place that I should avoid!
