Diego Maradona was born in Lanús Oeste, Argentina on October 30 in 1960 and he was one of the best soccer players ever known. Maradona played for many star teams including FC Barcelona and the Argentinas international team, the first ever major league team he played for was the Argentinos Juniors soccer team and then was transferred to Boca Juniors. Maradona was then transferred over to FCB(Barcelona). In scored 34 goals. Maradona played in four FIFA World Cups, one of the world cups he was in was the 1986 World Cup in Mexico where he was the captain of Argentina and led them to victory over West Germany in the final and won the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player.
Maradona then retired and became a coach for Argentina International team and also a few junior teams. Diego Maradona is possibly the best soccer player in the world but some people say that Messi or Ronaldo or even someone in a few generations will overtake Maradona's spot as the best ever.
