Favorite holiday traditions (christmas)

My favorite holiday tradition

My favorite holiday tradition is probably watching two or three movies while drinking hot chocolate and eating crackers with cheese (we do it on Christmas eve). One more thing before I officially start, I despise marshmallows unless they're strawberry flavored. One of the fun things about it is that most of the movies we watch have nothing to do with Christmas! My family and I also play board games like Jumanji, and card games like Uno. The games are my absolutes Favorite. On Christmas, we always eventually play Blindfolded Twister (😁), which is probably the most awesome game there is, and the most fun too!

Hot chocolate with snowflake marsh mellow on top.

Christmas lights :)

During Christmas or Christmas Eve I and my family go around our neighborhood and look at all of the people's Christmas decorations on the house and meet up with family. Usually, we meet up with my grandparents and eat Christmas Eve dinner with them too. After we leave the next day we open up our Christmas presents and go to my grandparent's house to open gifts as well.

My favorite Christmas tradition

My favorite Christmas tradition is when my family gets together on Christmas Eve. My family has been doing this since before I was born and I look forward to it every year. When we first get there my family puts out all the food that they bring and it includes Chick fil a, meatball subs, and pumpkin pies. After we eat we open presents and watch a movie usually something like star wars or a popular Christmas movie and eat dessert. My cousins and I like to play a game where we mix up 3 different drinks and you have to guess what they are. After that is the time when people usually start to leave but usually I am the last one too. We always have fun during this tradition and we hope to have it for many more years to come

My most embarrassing holiday tradition

My most embarrassing holiday tradition, LOL. You're trash kid. I just named it that so you would click on it to see what it is. I don't actually have any EMBARASSING traditions, but I have TRADITIONS. Yes, I  celebrate Christmas. We pray like, first thing if we're at my grandparent's house. I'm not BIG on praying, but I'm still Christian. After that, we eat, THEN open presents and whatnot. I ask myself every year, "I wonder if orphans get presents." Of course, Christmas isn't just about presents, but it's something to think about. I mean, they might get like, letters, but do their parents like send them something saying, "Hey Billy. We miss you. How's life as an orphan? Do you get along with the other kids? You better, or else. Hey, do you like batman because he's an orphan too? I get it, kid. Have a good year! Love, ........................ Nevermind." I'm not typing, or rather, thinking, that to be mean. I like orphans, I have nothing against them and don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, I just ask myself that, and it's ok that you will now too, boomer. After I think about that, we would go from my house to my grandparents' house, to my cousin's house, and my other cousin's house, then well I'm done. Thanks for watching. Love, .............................................. Never mind.

Holiday Traditions

Holiday Traditions

First things first, let's just say my tradition is pretty basic. Every Christmas eve we go to my aunt and uncle's house and so do a bunch of my other family members. When we get there, some of the kids go down in the basement and play games or whatever until dinner is ready. Then, we all go upstairs and eat dinner. Once you get done, some of the kids go back downstairs and all the adults usually stay upstairs and just talk. After that, dessert is ready so we all go upstairs and eat dessert. Usually like 15 minutes later we all go upstairs and open all our presents. After that, we do family photos. Lastly, most of the kids go down to the basement and play games and stuff. Finally, we all go home and usually go straight to bed because it is late. **HAHA JUST KIDDING, only my parents go to bed. My sister and I stay up until like 3:00 am.**

My Holiday Traditions

Every year on Christmas Eve, we always go to a store and get new ugly sweaters. Another tradition is my elf on the shelf, Little Buddy, I named him after the movie "ELF," because Little Buddy reminds me of Buddy from "ELF," but a smaller version. Every morning I go and find him. Every Christmas morning we all put on our Christmas pajamas. We always go to a store and get new ones every year. Every year we also bake all kinds of cookies, for us, and for Santa. I also have a little calendar that I open every day that has chocolate in it. Lastly, I always, of course, put cookies and milk out for Santa, and carrots out for the reindeer. This is what I do every year as a holiday tradition. Image result for cookies"Image result for christmas ugly sweater"Image result for christmas pajamas"

Holiday traditions

During the holidays my family doesn't do anything special for the holidays. My older brother comes over every so often with his dog. His dog is very playful so my dogs get very excited to see his. Once we open our presents and everything we go to eat breakfast. On rare occasions, we go out and eat. So as you can see we don't do many things that are interesting for the holidays.

Christmas traditions

My family's Christmas tradition is that on Christmas Eve we all bake sugar cookies together as a family. First, we will make the dough for scratch and all the kids will help. Second, we will roll out the dough, and we will use the cookie cutters to make fun shapes out of the cookie dough. Third, we bake the cookies and wait anxiously until we hear the oven go off. Next, we will let the cookies cool. Then we will put the icing on them and decorate them. Lastly, we devour the warm tasty cookies.

Holiday Traditions

On Christmas eve my family goes to my Grandparents. We have a different category of what we wear every year as a tradition. This year is ugly Christmas sweaters. We go to my grandparents to eat Christmas eve dinner. When we are there we also exchange some gifts to the people we wouldn't see on Christmas. We go to my grandparents for a lot of the holidays. My aunt, uncle, and cousins also come. Let me know if you have a tradition like this.

Holiday Tradition

My family really doesn't have any family traditions because I don't have a big family and not everyone likes each other, but the thing we do almost every year is we make cookies with my mom. We have been making Christmas cookies together for a long time and it is kind of a tradition but not really anymore because my brother usually leaves after making and eating the cookies he likes. This year we are making peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cookie cut-outs, nut tosses, and my favorite chocolate less chocolate chip cookies ( I'm not weird they are cholate chip cookies with no chocolate NOT A SUGAR COOKIE VIOLET). We already started making some of the cookies but we will be continuing to make more until Christmas, and maybe after so my brother can have some when he gets back from Poland.

Holiday tradition

Every year my family and I throw a Christmas eve party. The party usually goes on till it's late like 11/11:30. We usually have anywhere from 30 to 50 to people come over, and we always make a bunch of food.  My mother makes pretzel M&M bites, how you make them is you take a pretzel SQUARE. then, you place a peanut butter wafer on top. Next, you put a tray of your, "Peanut butter pretzels", in the oven, I'm not gonna tell you for how long. Lastly, you put a red or green M&M in the middle of the peanut butter and enjoy.

Holiday Traditions

Every year for years, my family has its own tradition. Our tradition is a Christmas game that I believe my great grandmother created. On person will need to be the dealer. Everyone gets small gifts and puts them in brown paper bags. Everyone gathers in a circle and puts the bags in the middle. The dealer passes out one card to each person over and over until there's no card left. Then the dealer looks at the card on the other deck and calls it. If you have that card then you take a prize out of the middle and put it behind you so nobody can see it. Once there are no prizes in the middle you can start stealing gifts from people. If your card is called, you can pick someone that has a gift and if they have it they must give you one. You can be picky and ask a person for the "square bag" and if they have it they must give it up if not then you lost your turn. You play until there are no cards left to be called then everyone opens their gifts. In conclusion, my holiday tradition is a Christmas game.

Holiday Tradition

Do you have a favorite or least favorite holiday tradition? I do, my favorite holiday tradition is with my family. My family and I are not allowed out of our rooms until everyone is up (which is around 9 am) on Christmas day. I really don't like to stay in my room that long on Christmas morning but we have to or no one gets any presents. When the clock says 9 everyone is running and fighting to get down the stairs first. Before we get to open any presents we go to church and eat breakfast. After we get home we all have to hang up our clothes and sit by the tree. Once we are all there we go one at a time for presents while eating Christmas cookies. That is one of my favorite Christmas traditions my family and I have. What is yours?

Holiday Traditions

My favorite holiday tradition that my family does is the Saran Wrap game. Rules: whenever the reader of a story (Christmas themed) says left or right, you have to rotate the ball in that direction. When you unwrap a piece of saran wrap, there will be a treat inside, like candy or money. you get to keep whatever you unwrap. You keep reading the story until there is no more saran wrap. In the end, usually, everyone gets at least one treat. After this, we open gifts.

Here is a link to learn more about the game: https://www.isavea2z.com/saran-wrap-ball-game-rules-ideas/

Favorite Holiday Traditions

My family does not really do anything for the holidays just hang out with family. But the one we do is my favorite is we get my cousins and sisters then we get into teams and we have a gingerbread house and then we compete against the other teams and play against each other. The team with the best gingerbread house wins. And one other one we do is pick gifts from a table and we either say we get to pick or keep the gift but we do not know what is in it. But in the end, you can trade with people.

Holiday Traditions

I don't have any unusual holiday traditions.  I just have Christmas dinner with my family and open presents. Nothing very interesting. I do get my pets presents, 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Christmas Jammies

My favorite holiday tradition is also my husbands most embarrassing holiday tradition. Every holiday season, our family's elf on the shelf arrives. His name is Buddy. Yes, he was named after the movie, Elf.  Every year Buddy brings my family matching holiday pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, I make my family take a family picture in front of our Christmas tree wearing our matching pajamas. This picture is then posted on many various social media platforms for the world to see.
This is my husband coming to terms with his new set of Christmas Jammies.
This was the first year that our elf Buddy brought Kinley her Christmas jammies. She is much more excited about the tradition than Wes.

Harry Potter Series!!!

The Harry Potter Series! (Introduction/ Book Review.)

In my opinion, I love the Harry Potter Series. I want know, what is your favorite character and why? Tell me in the comments below. I would love to hear your answers :)

Anyways, back to what I was talking about.

So the series contains characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Minerva Miggonigal, and etc.

I won't spoil much, but what happens is that Harry is a normal boy who lives currently on Private Drive. He lives with his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. He also lives with Duddly, the son of Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon. Little did Harry know that in his past an evil person named He-who-must-not-be-named killed his parents and he almost killed Harry but luckily Harry survived with a scar on his forehead.

Find out what happens next by reading the Harry Potter Series.

You can read the books or watch the movies, but I would personally read the books because the books have more information than the movies.

Sorry to leave you guys on a cliffhanger, but I can't spoil the series.

    I have to go.
    Bye!

My injuries! Go me!

I've always loved bouncing on trampolines. I, obviously, am not that tall, so I like seeing over the top of the trampoline. Well, when I jump and land, it can either go bad or good. Usually, it's bad. One time when I was at Riley Kochel's house (she lives across the street from me), I went on the trampoline and I was having a good time and then when I jumped and landed, I landed on my knees and my back bent over like you're doing a backbend. When that happened, I felt a little crack in the middle of my back and when I got up, it hurt so much. I know it seems like no big deal, but when you go to the doctor after that happens and they said you sprained your back, you know what it feels like. Yes, you can sprain or strain your back. Plus, if you have a sprained/strained back and you attempt to jump on a trampoline, like, you physically can't; I mean, you can but it REALLY hurts. After the pain went away a few weeks, yes weeks, later, I went on the trampoline again to find out if my back hurt again when I jumped. I was fine until I did the same exact thing again.....7 times in a row. Yay me! Well, after the 7 times, I learned my lesson- (I should've learned my lesson the 3rd or 4th time I did it)- now, I always land in a 'criss-cross-applesauce' position. Lol, that sounds weird.

Another time I had an 'injury' was when I was playing soccer against the Tulplehocken team (The girls who were on my team know about this already). We were playing and I was the defense. A girl on the other team had the ball and was running towards me, so I did what any other player would do. I tried to get the ball, obviously. When I went to get the ball, in my perspective at least, the girl tripped me or at least tried to, this might've been my fault, too, but she tried tripping me and she was successful. I landed on my right shoulder and it sort of like, twisted I guess? I don't know what the correct word is. Anyway, I landed and I could tell it wasn't in the correct position. After I landed and the coaches came to check if I was okay, I said yes and was sent off the field because there was only like, 5 minutes left. When we were going to our cars after the game, the referee came to me and asked if I was okay. We had a talk and then we went home. A few days after, the pain was so intense that I needed to go to the doctor and there, I got a sling so my arm could rest.

Finally, the last 'injury' I had was when I was swimming. I was at the gold or silver championships and my group consisted of four people. We were heading to the blocks where we obviously dove into the pool. When we got there, we were put in a line so that each of us had to do 50 (2 laps) of the stroke we were doing. Backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, and freestyle. I was 2nd to go, and I was NERVOUS. My turn was up, so I went and I swam my fastest. While finishing up with the 2nd lap, I felt as if I pulled something in my right shoulder; I only felt the pain when I got home. Turns out, I pulled a muscle in my arm that lead up to my shoulder and I needed to use the same sling I used when the soccer injury happened. I got the sling and wore it for a couple days until the pain stopped.

FUN FACT(s): I've never broken any bones, I've never flown in an airplane, I've only been to 8 states: Florida, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, Tennessee, and South Carolina, my dream car is a white Jeep, and if I won 1 million dollars, I would send some to foster care, hospitals, orphanages, and humane societies, then I would put some into my savings account for college, I would help my parents with the house (putting money towards windows, doors, etc), I would give some money to my family, THEN I would spend it on myself.

My dog is a model

So my dog is a model. Well, not officially but he should be. Cappuccino the Pomeranian is a very fluffy boy and is around 6 years old. Cappuccino was a street dog but found and brought to the Humane Society I'm also going to add a section for my other dogs, Sammy and Buckley. Sammy is a 2-year-old Keeshond. We went to The pet experts in the Berkshire Mall and we (me and my sister) asked for our dad to hold this cute little fluff ball and our dad said no we would want to get him. Welp, he seemed to be right and we adopted him. Now Buckley our most recent addition, Buckley we actually got from my oldest sister because her dogs had puppies! We actually got Buckley on August 4 and to be more specific at 1:45. My sister's dogs ended up having 6 puppies and she sold 4 and she kept one and we got the other which is Buck. Buck and Max (Buck's brother) are pure boxers and both fawns which doesn't make much sense since the mom is a brindle and the dad white. Buckley still doesn't know how to jump. Buck has 4 brothers and one sister, Buck and Max were the only fawns the rest except the girl is dark brindle the girl is gray. Buckley is a bully, originally to Sammy but he moved on to Cappuccino. We are excited to see how Buckley will react to snow.
