COVID-19 -2 Week Closeure- Part 1

COVID-19 -2 Week Closure- Part 1

My inbox flooded with online work. It is so stressful to have so many assignments. I did some of my Language Arts assignments. I did a few of my math assignments. I also did a few of my science assignments. I, however, did none of my Geography assignments. I did every German assignment. I have this one project in Steam where we have to build anything we want and I want to make a basket out of straws and I want the inside to be made out of soft fabric or something like that. Reading is one thing that I did a lot of and I actually finished one of my books. When I do all of this work, I sometimes play music on my other computer. I like to think of music as background music. I also have to do my school work at a specific time, which brings me to my next topic.

I have to follow a schedule and I have to do things at specific times. Here is my schedule:

Wake up, eat breakfast, make my bed, get dressed, put pj's in the laundry if need be- Before 9:00
Morning Walk- 9-10 (*We usually skip this though and we do it in the afternoon, sometimes.*)
Academic Time-10-11
Creative Time-11-12 (*I usually do a workout during this time and I usually do more academic stuff instead, but hopefully I can do something creative.*)
Lunch-12
Chores-12:30
Quiet Time-1-2:30
More Academic Time-2:30-4
Afternoon Fresh Air-4-5
Dinner-5-6
Free Electronic Time-6-8
Bedtime-8-10 (*The time varies.*)

I also played some video games with some of my friends and my goal is to play with all of my friends.

It is very boring because we can't go anywhere, but hey, I am surviving and I am hanging in there.

I hope the world can solve this big problem.

Living In Quarantine

Quarantine Life

Being in quarantine is a struggle. First of all, you're being enclosed in a certain space. Second of all, you really can't go out anywhere. Third of all, you're bored/lazy a lot and it's hard to stay productive.

One of the hardest struggles is dealing with our parents because they are stressed out during this time. My mom is a healthcare worker, who is part-time working from home but is working more hours per day to keep her department afloat. And when she does go in, she is around patients with active COVID that makes all of us concerned. My dad is an operating room nurse who is also exposed to patients. They are having a hard time balancing all of their work demands, the fear of being exposed and bringing it home, helping 4 kids with school assignments and keep up with everyday life demands. Sometimes their anxiety rolls downstream to us.
